It's basically what I said in my feedback: I find peacock feathers "beautiful" but I assume the peahen finds them "sexy" i.e. appealing in a different way. Like, finding a beautiful building vs. an attractive woman appealing are very different qualia.
different qualia, sure, in large part because they’re hooked up to different emotions. but is there a difference in how the form evolves / how Desire and Beauty do their tango?

In the abstract perhaps. But concretely I don't see why we as humans appreciate flowers, for example. They don't try to appeal to us.
