The essence of systems thinking: Every persistent biological or cultural structure exists because of a positive feedback loop. Sometimes it’s hard to see. But to understand the structure, you must understand the loop.

Just the feedback loop is needed, negative and positive are stiker that nature does´t assign to the entes it create.

Now we're talking. The boundary between "negative" and "positive" reflects how we define the system's identity. For simple machines, it's clear; e.g. a top is either spinning or has fallen on its side. But for a human, or an ecosystem, is a big shift negative or positive?
