The only places where Labour gained seats were those represented by candidates who actively call themselves socialists.

Wales - socialist Mark Drakeford as Leader. Salford and Eccles up to 52 councillors (Tories 7) - RLB's constituency. Liverpool - socialist Joanne Anderson voted Mayor. Tories 4.1% of vote. Any journalists care to develop this, see if a trend develops? Anyone? Mmm..

I truly believe that more than half the UK population are generally left leaning (not hard left). The problem we have is that the monied establishment is centre-right right, and they have the financial means to control the political landscape via MSM 'information' control.

The problem is there's a party working within the Labour party that will destroy anything not center, members have no power they're just needed to tow the line and not vote Tory, and I think people of sick of voting 'just not tory'

They are not 'centre' (see http://politicalcompass.org ), they are centre-right, but obviously won't admit to being right wing as that would be an anathema to Labour voters. Even if Starmer's centre-right Labour get elected, nothing will change. This is by design.pic.twitter.com/4WnQHONRlW

I have summarised the problems above. The way forward is for socialists everywhere to come up with a strategies to correct it. Socialists on both sides of the Atlantic (indeed across the world) need to join together to regain power from the monied elites that are bleeding us dry.

To clarify, I'm not calling for armed conflict. I'm talking about taking back control by peaceful means. We need to circumvent their media, and enlighten the electorate using more personal communication. Word of mouth is the most powerful media communication tool in the world.

But word of mouth is amplified exponentially by social media. The left is currently too fragmented. We need to coagulate into a single force.

If all socialists work together as a team, the electorate will vote for what we offer them. They are as desperate for change as we are. They just don't currently trust any party to deliver it. That has to change.
