According to the BBC, "Downing Street said the record had been corrected and there was no need for the PM to apologise." And the Speaker declined to order Johnson to come to the House to correct the record, saying it was "a point of clarification - that part has been achieved".

Wrong....there's every need for him to apologise. While there are no consequences to his lies he'll keep lying.

I’d agree if only he hadn’t managed to get to be PM despite a career based on lying. There never have been any consequences except he seems to advance onwards and upwards.

First Past the Post meant that the Tories got an 80 seat majority with 43% of the vote. The fact that the majority of people didn’t vote they Tory gives me hope.
