Does lockdown work? I live in Spain, we had one lockdown which ended in May20 - we have restrictions but the schools went back in Sept and have remained open. Businesses/shops also stayed open. New cases and deaths have declined here, just as they have in the UK- and worldwide.

Deaths per 100,000 compared to the UK?

Total for the pandemic - UK 182 per 100,000 and Spain 152 per 100,000. Both pretty appalling.

The list in order of deaths per million. I would agree with you but the UK had the example of Italy and Spain. My point though is that there is no lock down here but Britain is still in a worse position of deaths and new cases. Why is that after three lock downs?pic.twitter.com/7TQPAYzZto
