There’s an advantage to business not having to pay for large offices in expensive blocks owned by greedy Tory benefactors. If you have half the week in work and half at home it would save significant sums and also have the benefits linked the environmental issues (less traffic).

They can put the screws on all they like. The businesses who have been paying the huge city centre rents, where many offices are rented out by desk, have realised that they’ve been throwing money down the drain for years. Wfh will be the future for many.
