Steve Redgrave got one for rowing a boat, Andy Murray for hitting a ball... Were you annoyed then?

I am always annoyed when people that basically do things for themselves, in the name of doing it for their country! Lewis Hamilton tax exile is the least deserving of that - Murray and Redgrave pay their taxes because they live here!

Hamilton does pay tax in this country. But yes he also lives in Monaco, and why not? Same with Coulthard, same with Schumacher and so many others. What about Mansell? Funny how most people don't go on about them eh? Wonder why?

... when the Daily Mail puts out a headline like this singling him out amongst the many other who have received a knighthood there is one reason and one reason only.

Nothing to do with their skin colour I’m sure. Subliminal racism from the Mail on a daily basis for readers who love their views

exactly. His accomplishments in F1 have exceeded those of yes all the previous
drivers combined. The black guy came along and has made it look easy
.. with his BLM and vocal fight against racism he’s clearly getting above his station!!

I doubt most cares about race/colour! He jumped on BLM kinda late, but okay... maybe not taking millions from companies synonymous with slave trade and Nazi uniforms would truly make a statement! Greed isn't good!

On that logic most British institutions and the oldest money in the UK benefited massively from slavery. I don’t think here the same criticisms of those institutions / individual duals from many people criticising Hamilton

The profits from slavery are abhorrent! But someone claiming to be a representative of BLM taking money from companies? You do the maths!
