As many have pointed out, voters are not part of an army who have to do what the leaders say. The Brexit issue rose as a result of political disenchantment after the 2008 crash and the appalling austerity introduced by Cameron.

Other irony is in 2017 for the first time the decline of Labour vote was reversed. Between 2001 and 2015 Labour vote in my constituency never above 19k. 2017 23k+. Reason imho Corbyn (and Im not a supporter) and manifesto.
