Seeing mass graves being dug. At the moment with funerals being limited a lot aren't seeing what's happening. Yet I know of at least four Covid deaths. The people in Lombardi only took it seriously because the bells were constantly ringing for funerals.

Yes. British ignore death unless its happening around them personally. I buried my mother in April- 7 of us for a long life with a large family/friends & colleagues.... ring the bells

The next wave might sharpen people's attitude. We've needed leadership from the top and sadly it has been lacking. Once this wave has passed and more people have lost loved ones, the next wave will be the turning point.

After listening to the news I've had a different thought. It will be when friends or family can't go to hospital in an emergency due to the wards being full. That's when it will hit home. It will be horrible and unnecessary.
