When someone sits outside a school with their engine idling, it has the same moral significance as walking into that school without a mask. It's selfish behaviour that presents a grave risk to other people's health. It should be as socially unacceptable as spreading the virus.

I researched this after being driven mad by a car sitting idling for anywhere between 1 to 3 hours outside our house- hot weather, windows open- noise and fumes. So annoyed I went out and spoke to the ‘driver’ on 4/5 occasions- each time he moved on- I reported to local council.

That’s do handy to know. Our local primary school neighbours have been blighted with the long term engine tick over for years. So it’s very helpful information
