We all gave Mr Corbyn two chances and he did not win an elections or even come close, the guy we all voted in last year, which we would all admit has been a tough year, has not been given a chance? Changes needed to be made, the Tories have been in power for ten years already?

That’s not true Gary. The coup and mass resignations was not giving him a chance. It was deliberately undermining him

This is the genuine chance I gave Starmer - unlike many right wingers did for Jeremy Corbyn . He promised unity and then went on to do the exact oppositehttps://twitter.com/KevinPascoe/status/1246377337639374848 …

Kevin Pascoe #SocialistWelshLabour @KevinPascoeIt’s time for all socialists to get behind Keir the new Labour leader, but to actively participate in socialist policy development within Labour and keep socialists in key Party governance positions to ensure Jeremy Corbyn’s vision becomes a reality when we gain power https://twitter.com/Keir_Starmer/status/1246375395064262656 …1 antwoord 0 retweets 0 vind-ik-leuks -

When change happens there is always going to be fall out but we have to stop the in house fighting, if a new party is needed for the left, start it and get on with it, I would rather just get the tories out , they are the enemy of the country ?

But why did he throw it away - he had a once in a generation chance and blew it. He’s alienated the unions - and their financial support - and members have left in droves. He will bankrupt the party and that will not win elections

Sadly the calibre of leadership talent on the left, centre or right of Labour is appallingly bad. Hence the standard of the last contest. I’m depressed about this - sadly a legacy of the Blair years blocking passionate trade unionist candidates in favour of lawyers/researchers
