Estonia, Turkey & Italy [Sardinia & Monza] have all proved they can run a #WRC rally in COVID times.
Shouldn't the 2021 season start with these venues, rather than risk the French Alps & Sweden?

I don't know. I just know that some events have managed to run since Mexico 2020 - many haven't. Isn't better for the Stakeholders [awful word] to financially assist the ones that did and can run? Make the championship happen.

Did stakeholders financially assist any of the 2020 events? Anyway, it's a bit harsh to say the events were good because they pulled it through, since the ones cancelled were cancelled only because of reasons out of their control.

OK, let me rephrase: Shouldn't we give every event a chance? And who knows, maybe FIA has became more agile regarding WRC and is ready for faster changes. Late addition of Monza was the first proof of that.

The fact at least one crew has contracted COVID19 after Monza undermines your initial point. I can’t say they caught it out there but Milan / Begamo was a COVID infection hotspot. Has the FIA audited all crews / teams to see other infections. Probably not. Health before sport!
