"The News Quiz," used to be the gold standard, especially when it featured the unfailingly hilarious Jeremy Hardy (RIP). Now it's unlistenable. Then again, right wing humour's a tough gig. Even the wokest unwoke anti-PC RW comedians shy from Bernard Manning-type material.

I miss Jeremy Hardy, and also Linda Smith, both dedicated left-wingers. Many people think some comedians are left-wing because they make fun of a Tory government, and are surprised when the same comedians call Corbyn a racist, or blame the people of Greece for the recession there
