It's just part of the usual far-right hobby of attacking higher education. They don't like universities because people who go there practice critical thinking, and if you can think for yourself you won't fall for the rightwing web of lies and conspiracy theories.

Why is that important?

They can’t call out others without declaring who funds them. I appreciate they have a small amount of income from individuals but the big money comes from Bamford & Co in the UK, and US companies after public sector contracts. They have also failed to challenge COVID procurement
