Ay? I was under the impression that you had a right to representation in any 'meeting' of this nature. If a union rep isn't available, or you're not a member of a union, then you can elect a third party. Unless workers rights have been totally eroded, of course. Hope it goes ok.

I don’t think it’s rule of law - but it’s the ACAS good practice guide. Employers (and their lawyers) are wary of not following it as any future unfair dismissal case will hold it against them. Good luck anyway
