No mention of its survival on chip and pin keypads strangely - which is something we all have to touch.

Cash can also be put in a tray and passed across. And if it's spreading on surfaces, and survives for a long time, those self-service checkout screens that everybody touches would also be a huge issue. Hundreds of people touch them per day. The priorities don't make sense to me.

There is a total lack of consistent data or consistent measures. You & I could sit down for an afternoon & come up with better rules. E.g. If care workers with a negative test & PPE can go into care homes, why can't people's relatives, when this isolation is killing the elderly?

Just in passing. I don’t want to lose cash (I’m probably already on Dom’s list for a frozen bank account) but I do swipe my notes with the hand cleanser, works a treat on the plastic.

I hand sanitise everyone I use the cash point, keypad or self serve checkout. It’s easy
