As outlined in Elfyn’s report it’s our economic / fiscal unreadiness, the need for public service cuts / tax hikes isn’t a price worth paying at this point. It’s as practical as that. I have no fear that Wales can stand as an independent nation but it must have a sound economy

You’re attaching to much import to the graphic. It’s meant to show the asininity of ‘too small, too poor. You’re critique of the moral standing of some of the nations is a deflection. Besides as many are honest as are dishonest. Iceland, Estonia, Croatia, Slovenia?
