That’s like saying jumping off this roof into swimming pool may well kill me but it’s worth a try! Independence is far more ‘worth trying’?
You know per capita GDP is the relevant measure here. Some are outliers who thrive on international tax avoidance (hence my ethical comment). Worth noting the economic trajectory of many of these nations in their first 20-30 years of independence. No spin - just facts needed

Also I’m surprised that many examples quoted are not exactly paragons of virtue in terms of corruption. Looking at the Corruption Perception Index from Transparency International they are not countries I’d want to be part of eg Belarus,Malta, Bulgaria

Seriously? We are an annexed nation of one the most corrupt governments in the west! The graphic was to illustrate the GPD of many independent nations is much smaller than ours & we are nowhere near performing as well as we could be.

As part of the ‘Union’ our gdp per capita is low as is economic activity. We have a higher % of OAPs than UK. Many of these are expat retirees whose pensions & health care comes out of our budget. We pay more per capita for defence than any other European or UK nation & so on.

I wouldn’t argue with those points, but back to Elfyn’s report we need answers before proceeding. This cannot be Brexit v2.0 He is respected beyond party allegiances and as with Yes Cymru those wanting independence need to build progressive alliances not alienate the curious
