I think the speeches by Keir Starmer and Lisa Nandy have made so many ordinary Labour party members more and more determined to ensure Jeremy Corbyn’s legacy is consolidated and extended. They are doing a great job of keeping those on the left motivated

Are the people who support Keir Starmer in the Labour Party not ordinary, Kevin?

They are Frances - but I for one believed him when he said he wanted to unite party. He’s going about it in a very odd way with his pattern of sackings - eg PPSs last night. Not a great look. It doesn’t show strong leadership it demonstrates intolerance of principled politicians

I think he wants a cabinet that isn't being disloyal. Sackings are inevitable with that style of leadership. I don't blame him and Corbyn demanded the same.

Disloyal? Voting on key principles of human rights - on those issues you don’t Whip. He’s managed to upset many in his party and gained nothing tactically over the Tories. His naivety sees the Tories criticise his line on abstention as much as they would outright opposition.

Did you demand loyalty of Labour MPs when Corbyn was leader? Did you refer to mass principled resignations as a "coup"?
