Did I say anywhere the left politicians who voted with their conscience shouldn't do so? I actually agree with their stance on their legislation. I just also think that taking a front bench position means taking on board that responsibility. You can't have your cake and eat it.

Corbyn is a principled man. I disagree with many of those principles. But you can't act as though he wouldn't also have been fired if he'd been promoted to the front bench, for rebelling. That's the nature of politics.
