This is so true and I suspect we will end up with fewer MSPs too. Our joint stance with the Tories in the Independence Ref finished off Labour in Scotland. Starmer has decided his route to No 10 is through Tory seats. Wales is no longer solid Labour either.
-
Against all the evidence Starmer is fighting with the Tories over a dwindling number of middle class voters who have already voted Tory once. Not their children, who can't buy houses, not the hundreds of thousands in post industrial Britain. Starmer thinks they don't matter.

Even with ZERO Labour MPs in Scotland, Wilson would have had a UK majority of 6 in 1966. With ZERO Labour MPs in Scotland, Blair would have had UK majorities of 67 in 1997 and 55 in 2001.

And in 2005 ?

Labour is effectively finished in Scotland & Starmer’s pledge of allegiance to the U.K. as it is (designed to woo the red wall back) puts the party on the wrong side of history; Scottish independence is likely in this decade. Starmer is a one-term Labour leader.

All he's got to do is out-Tory the Tories & he's well on course for that: elected by ruling-class/MSM/22% of the population
