When will Labour find a visionary leader who is managerially competent? As much as I respect and like JC he was a leader rather than a manager. KS appears managerially competent but at best an uninspiring leader. Surely there must be someone in Labour who ticks both boxes?
The size of the defeat was largely down to Farage standing candidates down to help the Tories and not splitting thei Leave vote - no Labour leader could have changed that. He delivered second best performance in the last 30 years in 2017 and had a higher vote share than Brown
