The reality of these polls has generated desperate attempts to spin Starmer's impact. Someone pointed me to the 26% improvement article which was embarrassing for its attempt to divert. Governments tend to fall behind outside elections so not even being on par is an utter failure

Have you not noticed yet that there's always a flurry of polls (designed to influence not inform) when Tories are in serious shit about something??

Polls can be selective whom they invite; most polls already have a profile & history over years on how participants are likely to answer. So easy to gauge how they would answer when they have that historical profile especially if they always support Gov no matter what.
-
There are thousands signed up to receive these surveys yet very few are actually invited. I was led to believe the greater the number taking part the better the data would reflect the consensus/trend.

Then if we had anyone but Corbyn leading the Labour Party we would be 20 points ahead Now because we once had a leader called Corbyn the now leader of the Labour Isn’t 20 point ahead Perhaps 5 years of centrists telling MSM Labour were racist incompetents ‘tarnished the brand’
-
But of course that’s all Corbyn’s fault...

I honestly think it'd be higher under Corbyn right now. Some Labour people didn't vote for him in the brexit election, due to our brexit policy, which was designed by Keir and co. Brexiteers won't trust Keir for sure.

The Establishment weaponised the
#EURef result against Socialism; now that Socialism is at best a dying influence in the Labour Party (and probably now dead), the Establishment politicians such as Starmer now finally accept the result of said referendum about 11 months too late
