I have had so much respect for Neil in the past but on this he’s so wrong. Where is this mass false positive test evidence? Locally we are seeing a wave of symptomatic new cases. Deaths are down but friends and neighbours are ill with it. This disinformation is irresponsible

There is plenty of evidence the testing is not accurate. The story was in the New York Times recently and repeated in the press here.

Dept of Health indicated about 5% false positive and 5% false negative, so should be no overall impact. Regardless of this playing a silly statistical game to support a lunatic conspiracy theory, in reality cases are going through the roof - the last week has seen a mass shift
