Here’s a debate we want to host: should the left focus it’s efforts inside or outside of the Labour Party?

Inside Labour. The challenges / risks of a new party are too great, and any new party likely to fragment within 5 years of people are too left or not left wing. All political parties are compromises - better the compromise you know than a compromise party you know nothing about

With a New Party at least Labour Coup MPs could be automatically barred for life. We might then be able to make some progress instead of right-wingers in Labour constantly undermining us to the detriment of the many. Stay & fight? How exactly when Members have little/no power?

Stay and make sure with your vote that we get leftwing reps on the NEC and other influencial bodies like the Conference panel etc and Conference reps from CLP's

I thought 'left wing' dominated the NEC before & it didn't seem to do us much good - PLP still treated Labour Members like dirt & NEC did nothing about Coup MPs undermining Corbyn. Conference Delegates get selected by the few. At my CLP there was no consultation/vote.

That’s untypical

There should be checks in place to ensure Members are consulted: We in the Rhondda received no email to vote for Delegates. Delegates were simply announced/confirmed at a CLP Meeting, amongst a small right-wing clique.

It shouldn’t be like that
