Of course. Attitudes to disability were truly appalling then - as was discrimination against many characteristics. I was making the point we had a platform to build off before she smashed communities

It’s not changed much at all! Employment is still a huge problem . A disabled person with a degree is far less likely to get a job that another person gets with a GCSE

I was 'included' in a local disability forum, for betterment. Hosts passed over 'ideal' candidate-blind, highly experienced & qualified . for an able bodied employee of theirs. Tried to say I was unreasonable to object to-their reasoning . it became an excuse to eat&greet. No ta.
