Wishy washy politics failed in 2015 but we are at it again during the second depression in 12 years.

Do you think a political reset needs to happen though, and that this will only be achieved by guaranteeing the numbers? A unity of parties will only achieve this I think. Not only is this the worst PM of all time, but he’s supported by the most gullible electorate of all time.

But how would it happen? What would it achieve?

Million dollar questions
it would achieve over 50% of the vote (excluding Brexit Party) which is the most important thing to slam on the emergency breaks here. There is a movement of anti-Tory before pro-anyone else that needs to be marshalled better to be effective for votes.1 antwoord 0 retweets 1 vind-ik-leuk -

I don’t think it would achieve more than 50%. A unity government would in reality need 80% support for an undisputed mandate and it won’t happen

Very true. The rising could potentially come from those that “lent” their vote to the Tories. Also attraction will depend upon a strong unity play by honouring, and improving, the Brexit arrangement.

They haven’t lent their votes, they are now Tories - no one with principles of fairness could vote Tory

They voted for Brexit, but I agree strongly with your point on principles.

Those who voted Brexit are now Tories - no way back for them unless Labour becomes another Tory party

The betrayal of respecting the Brexit vote has caused serious damage and when Labour voters vote Tory, they will be prepared to do it again. Our 2017 stance was spot on. It would have allowed the situation to calm down and take our time to deal with the EU.
