if i read this correctly, people in Scotland, Wales and N Ireland will be able to fly abroad as its a uk government issue but they can't travel to |England yet as that's devolved. That is ludicrous

That appears to be the case - but presumably they can’t travel to the airport in Wales unless it’s less than 5 miles from home?

That’s a good point, without continental EU cover with the NHS E111 travel card: ( thank you Brexit ); what does happen if you are in Spain or France and come down with covid ? Your regular travel insurance would not cover you (I suspect) ? Yep very good question !!!!

Not sure you can from what I read a little while ago - that all new policies automatically exclude cv - unless you had an annual policy before cv. For EU, EHIC (while we still have it!) is great (used it a few times) but it wouldn't repatriate you..

Most / all existing travel insurance policies specifically excluded COVID cover if you travelled after late March

There is No insurance available. Tried to get travel monies back and a No cover policy was implemented prior??

I had notification in mid March saying anything covid related is excluded from my existing travel insurance
