Not quoting polls. I lived there for a short time. If I could live two lives, I'd live one in HK. Most people I met were very happy with their lot in life. It's like with China. We are told that the Chinese people are oppressed. Tell them that and they won't believe you.

Surely there must be some evidence somewhere rather than just personal reflections? I don’t doubt you but want to get a wider evidence based perspective
