The daily new cases reinforce we are way behind them on the curve - we had 3,923 new cases, Spain 1,880, Italy 802, Belgium 485 and France 312 - so sadly many fatalities to come yet in the UK as they improve. France has only 70 deaths yesterday

The fact that new cases remain persistently high is a cause for concern would suggest late reporting or people not obeying lockdown rules. Personally know of a case where lockdown not adhered to has resulted in almost certain death of family member.

I knew the test had a limited period of accuracy but didn’t realise it was 2 days. Let’s just hope the worst is behind us and we can slowly start returning to normal by August or September
