France manages to include this into their tally, why can't the UK? Because it will show this government is even more incompetent than many would wish to believe.
They are still using the same Scientists and Medical advisors

Yes the last proportion of care home deaths in France was 7,000 which was just over a third. So we could be looking at a figure worryingly close to 30,000.

That's only one level of deaths. The actual number is higher than the revised one.

"mentioned on death certificates"

We won’t know the true figures for years sadly.

Surely there is no sound numerical basis for these claims. There was no counting or testing in care homes or the community until just now. Therefore what is it 35% of?

Exactly - it’s fiction

Drs. have been allowed to state cause of death as pneumonia for example even when it is known that Covid was the underlying cause. Need to look at (horrible term) excess deaths. I hate using it because any death is one too many.

GPs have been deterred from putting
#Covid_19 on death certificates. The ONS figure still requires it to be on the death certificate. The FT figures of above the 5 year average are closer but possibly still understated as we had a very mild Winter & lower flu related deaths.Bedankt, Twitter gebruikt dit om je tijdlijn te verbeteren.
