Why can’t we count the dead properly? How many have died in care homes? Does anyone know? Or do we need to wait a month for figures from yesterday?

@ProfKarolSikora It is a good point administrative incompetence or just antiquated data collection systems. Data coming in from many different sources who is collating who is checking the veracity of the data?2 antwoorden 0 retweets 2 vind-ik-leuks -

You could add to the questions did anyone establish clear guidance on what constitutes a
#COVID19 death as we know 90% of those who have tragically died in last 5 weeks had at least 2 underlying health conditions. This whole thing makes international comparisons absurd.2 antwoorden 0 retweets 1 vind-ik-leuk
The real #Covid19UK death toll will not be known for months / years unfortunately. International comparisons are really difficult, mainly as UK testing levels per capita are terrifyingly low. We are currently ranked 60th in the world, so attributing cause of deaths is hard
