But in Ireland we include a wider range of deaths in our official stats, such as nursing home deaths, which the UK are not doing, that's artificially putting us on par, the UK officials are manipulating the stats to downplay their f**k up

Belgium is a mess. But France ‘only’ has 14,000 hospital deaths to date but do count the 8,500 have died in care homes. The UK is fiddling stats for international comparisons. Estimates of 60,000+ total deaths by August in the UK - with FT saying we are already on 43,000 deaths
