We had a shop (a post office of all places) that done it, got over 100nl complaints. Shop owner blamed suppliers and that was it. They acted like they were doing people a favour.

Local shop charging £2.99 for a tin of pilchards normally between 48-60p. Refuse to shop there now as many older people rely on such shops as local, may not have cars to get to supermarkets etc. This profiteering is despicable as it usually impacts vulnerable. Have reported it.

I’m the same - I will remember any profiteers. Our local shop hasn’t done it and have instead worked with local volunteers to supply shielded and ill older and younger people. I won’t forget their social responsibility
