My daughter works as a learning and development manager for CRUK. She took a cut in salary when she left her job at British Gas but she still has a mortgage to pay and kids to keep.

I recognise the sacrifices people make to do a job with real worth (I’ve done it myself) but many charities have become salary inflating machines for CEOs and senior managers. CRUK’s CEO salary is almost double the level of CEOs of similar sized UK charitiespic.twitter.com/2XbjV4Hfwa
