I'm worried that people who need to be there aren't going, as the doctor says.

It’s a difficult one Kevin , we’re not going out as much , playing sports , drinking , etc but do think a sml % of ppl attending before the lockdown did attend without adequate reason .

-
A LARGE % trust me!

I know someone who turned up at the RBH A&E with a CUT FINGER. Moaned afterwards about being kept waiting for four hours and left with an Elastoplast on the wound. It was a tiny pinprick of an injury but he was so indignant about his "treatment".

I was in A&E a couple of months ago with someone who was very ill. It was bunged & patents all looked like they need urgent care. The people you see outside A&E in waiting area might be there for a cut finger. But they will be made to wait for a stitch, perhaps all day.

I think there are many people sitting on their health problems to avoid hospitals. There will be people with minor complaints and others with not so minor ones. I suspect hospitals and EDs will be overwhelmed once this pandemic eases off.

Very good response

No pubs, no clubs & no sport.

Very good point - I did see a cyclist outside A&E this week with a sling after falling off their bike. Swings and roundabouts
