Why do MPs think they are so special that lockdown rules don’t apply to them. First we had a Stephen Kinnock and now we have Robert Jenrick - ‘Tory minister defends 40 mile drive to visit parents during coronavirus lockdown’https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/breaking-tory-minister-defends-driving-21843775 …

At least this guy was delivering medication, it wasn't just a social visit as it appeared to be in the Kinnock case

GPs arrange delivery to vulnerable people, it would be lovely to use medicine as a pretext to see our loved ones, but it is not necessary

Well on that particular point and don't get me wrong I am not defending the Tory, but my parents were left without delivery of medicine, but then again I managed to get it sorted without visiting them

Check with GP, if they people vulnerable arrangements can probably be made, using local volunteers- bless them, And he admitted locals are helping them- & with his money he could easily pay for delivery anyway! And he also left Westminster to go see his immediate family !

Unfortunately my parents, 90+ and dad with moderate dementia do no apparently qualify as extremely vulnerable under Gov definition as otherwise they are in relative good health but yes I managed to get volunteers to deliver medication why couldn't he?

He didn’t try Martin. My in-laws are wrapped up in cotton wool without issues
