I haven’t seen some of elderly members of my family for five weeks - but it’s the right sacrifice for them. Despite being in their 80s they understand that telephone calls - and surprisingly FaceTime - mean we are there them. Maybe you need a rethink and follow rules

In between tweets i got a phone call saying my friends mum had died.She was in a care home and her family had not seen her since the start of the lockdown.She was 96 the same age as my aunt.Sorry Kevin but i will continue to bend the rules thank you very much.

That's a lovely thing your doing and will mean the world to her + give her strength to help her through this. Facetime is good but nowhere near the same
