He's not getting a ventilator cos of his health condition - nothing to do with ITU beds or ventilators. This is a headline that is misleading! Now why would the BBC do that?

No what they mean is that there are ITU beds at the moment, but he’s somebody who is likely to need an ITU bed and ventilator for ~3 weeks and by then there will be a shortage...so they’re not going to give him one now. Disgusting.

Hardly likely to either but I think it’s fair conclusion since they’ve been asking 60+yr olds to sign DNR’s. Their message has been fairly clear and consistent.

Clear and consistent? Thousands pouring into Heathrow every day with no quarantine? How is that consistent with you not being able to visit your dead relative at cemetery cos it's been closed or road blocks with police demanding to know ur shopping intentions?
