I'm not sure - I read elsewhere that this was the bins outside the halls of residence in Leeds where the students had to leave in a hurry and then a team went in and removed the perishables.

blimey, though. A lot of food waste these days is due to people having no ability to check if it's good enough to eat and just chuck on the "use by" date without thinking. I'm hoping that maybe this virus situation might educate people
