Driving isn’t ok. This is non-essential and we are trying to save lives via these rules. If they are local and they are walking there as their one piece of exercise a day - and observing distancing - it’s a different matter

ALL for saving lives, but how is driving a short distance different to sitting in the house then going for a walk? The point is distancing, dont get within 2m. I walked yesterday, on a pavement with a barrier on one side and HAD to be inside 2m of others. It would be safer there

These lockdown rules have to be draconian in nature to be effective and easily implementable / monitorable. The individual points you make are valid but do you seriously expect a police officer to make a roadside judgement of you and your circumstances. I don’t
