Germany has 5813 COVID cases and had 13 deaths. The UK has 1391 cases and 35 deaths? Norway has 1356 cases and only 3 deaths. What are we doing so wrong? #covidー19uk

I think that the demographics are key, if Germany has had far more younger cases by proportion. But this shows how much closer we are to Italy - many more undetected & community transmission. The jump since last wk, clearly made them look again at their figs. Hope to be wrong.

Re: age diff, there was a Munich cluster study of young professionals, with 9 people who all got tested positive and i think all but one was mild case and moderate case recovered fine too. I don't know stats on intergenerational living patterns in Germany; expect they diff to UK
