Germany has 5813 COVID cases and had 13 deaths. The UK has 1391 cases and 35 deaths? Norway has 1356 cases and only 3 deaths. What are we doing so wrong? #covidー19uk

I think the UK have decided that clogging up surgeries and hospitals with people wanting tests would be a waste of resources. Hence the advice that if you have symptoms you should self-isolate. In most cases that will be enough to allow for recovery.

But it does mean that when you divide deaths by cases you get a higher figure because of the smaller denominator.
