Isn't the radio (as in the audio of All Live) coming back, according to something I heard during Monte? Do you feel there is a difference between a separate radio and that? And certainly I mostly just listen the stream during work days, can't see a problem in that either.

There’s a very big difference but you’re right, the audio feed from AllLive is way better than the current situation - which is nothing at all. Fingers crossed that gets sorted

Could you elaborate the difference you feel? I listened to the radio for years and much prefer AllLive due to getting more live look at the sporting moments themselves via the live onboards vs. only reports afterwards with a delay via stage end interviews (which are vital too!)

I agree with your comment while stages are live with WRC & WRC2 cars audio from All Live is better than previous radio service, however radio IMHO provided better coverage of WRC3, JWRC & other support categories, Also radio generally more interesting content between stages

I usually shut down the stream once the last car has finished. I agree that it would be sometimes nice to hear the stage end comments from later starters, but even the radio could only do it on a couple of stages during a rally, usually they had to switch over to the next one.

Sure but those few stages, often at end of a loop, were like gold if you were following a driver in a support category. What might have been achieved with Indian audience numbers last year when Gustav Gill was competing ? Opportunity lost?

What audience numbers? Radio listeners? We're talking about a very niche thing, _listening_ to stage end interviews from lower class drivers.

Why should they?

It’s a business cost you accept in being the promoter - they did it in the past so why change. It’s about WRC taking a view on reaching markets unable or unwilling to buy the WTC+ subscription - including some parts of Africa and Asia and less affluent fans elsewhere in Europe
