When Labour lost the GE, my first instinct for next Labour leader was either Rebecca Long-Bailey or Barry Gardiner. I'm a fan of both, but I feel the left need to unite behind one candidate to stop a centrist takeover. Who do you think is Labour's strongest leadership candidate?

Well if you are willing to support people with that kind of record it is up to you of course.

Not a fair comparison imo. RLB has been an MP since 2015 whereas BG has been there since 1997. Who's to say how she would have voted had she too been indoctrinated by Blair?

People need to realise just the maths alone makes us completely ineffectual in opposition in Westminster. We have to accept politicians can do absolutely naff all to stop the hard right juggernaut only the people can do that. What we need is a unionist loudmouth to motivate them
