When Labour lost the GE, my first instinct for next Labour leader was either Rebecca Long-Bailey or Barry Gardiner. I'm a fan of both, but I feel the left need to unite behind one candidate to stop a centrist takeover. Who do you think is Labour's strongest leadership candidate?

I'm more disappointed Corbyn didn't flip his lid, sack the Philips of the party and stand firm tbh but respect his decision after all the personal shite he's endured

My first priority is policy. She is a decent enough performer for me. Gardiner (who isn't even running at the moment) doesn't have the politics. I want to see us carry on with the types of polices we have and which Long_Bailey was central to developing. Not slide backwards.
