@LucyMPowell @SeemaChandwani maybe we do need a bit more strategic reflection rather than quick reactions. Our policies seemed popular, but perceptions around Brexit, Corbyn and Johnson were often false. Why?https://twitter.com/MichaelRosenYes/status/1207597590050754560 …

Why is everyone ignoring the elephant in the room. The trouble with Labour is the gutter press.

For strategic reflections best to start with reasonable facts (distorted perceptions) that most will accept, then look at possible explanations together. Extreme media bias is one, but PLP mixed messages and disagreements another. Also Jeremy himself and his communication team.

I honestly can't see what he did wrong. He got out & met people. He had no other choice when the msm refused to give him a platform. Look at Schofield shouting just say sorry. Sorry for what? No one, not even those shouting about AS, could seriously believe Corbyn is anti Semitic

Jeremy probably should have confronted those making the smears, but I think the main problem is the relentless lies propagated across the media that journalists never challenged.

I absolutely agree. Jeremy should have sued just one of them. By ignoring them they just got worse.
