Tugging forelocks has been in the English blood for centuries for too many people there is some kind of acceptance that the rich are our natural leaders and that their education made them good people.

Surely not. The demographic is changing for all parties. Generally speaking a higher proportion of people educated to high level vote Labour or Lib Dem or PC/SNP. Those with no or few qualifications far more likely to vote Brexit Party or Tory
