Exactly - two people doing the same job should get the same hourly rate, anything less is discrimination. A 16 year old *trainee* might not expect to earn as much, but as soon as their training is over, they should expect the same wage.

Over the years I have employed kids, it is very hit and miss and I certainly wouldn't employ one at £10 an hour from day one, most of the time you should be paid for babysitting!
