If that’s the case is that why they were frustrated with him last year - it wasn’t just the crashes they sacked him for it was the testing issue? Just wondering

If he was one of the test drivers, and I'm sure he did have a major role, then the car design should have suited him more than any other. You could be right that had something to do with the added frustration felt by Citroen. Still no announcement on 2020 though, is there?

They screwed around with the testing. Spent 1000’s if KM testing on aftermarket dampers, then developed in house and went with them. As Meurig said, you can test all you like and be fast there, but the competition world is a different beast and shows the flaws.

Class act from Seb. An insult to some very strong drivers still in the championship. Blaming a man leaving for withdrawing from the sport is poor form. Saying no one is good enough to take his place is disgusting PR and an insult to current driver.pic.twitter.com/4LTdtFf4dS
